SPINS report 2018 EXPO EAST RECAP

We found several premium examples of multi-serve creamers at Expo East, including Know Brainer’s Ketogenic Butter Creamer with Collagen, which won this year’s NEXTY for Best Special Diet Food, combining MCT oil with grass-fed butter and no added sugar like the brand’s first single-serve packets. The multi-serve creamers come in two varieties: one that’s full dairy with grass-fed milk and cream, and one that blends the animal- based butter and collagen with almond and coconut milks. The coee-creamer space is growing fast, with natural products outpacing the total segment: natural dairy- and plant-based creams and creamers show combined growth of 19.9% to a $361.5 million market.
